கடந்த 2000 ஆம் ஆண்டு கமல்ஹாசன் நடிப்பில் வெளியான திரைப்படம் ‘ஹே ராம்’.
இந்தப் படத்தில் கமல், ஷாருக் கான், ஹேமா மாலினி, ஸ்ருதி ஹாசன், ராணி முகர்ஜி உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்திருந்தனர். இளையராஜா இந்தப் படத்திற்கு இசையமைத்திருக்கிறார். இந்தப் படத்தில் பிரபல பாலிவுட் நடிகரான நவாசுதீன் சித்திக்கும் நடித்திருக்கிறார். ஆனால் அவர் இடம்பெற்ற காட்சிகள் அப்படத்தில் இருந்து நீக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. இதுதொடர்பாக சமீபத்தில் நவாசுதீன் சித்திக் பேட்டி ஒன்றை அளித்திருக்கிறார்.
‘ஹே ராம்’ படத்தில் நான் ஒரு முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்தேன். என்னை கமல் காப்பாற்றும்படியான காட்சி அது. அவருடன் திரையில் நடித்தது பெரும் மகிழ்ச்சி. ஆனால் கடைசி நேரத்தில் நான் நடித்த காட்சி நீக்கப்பட்டுவிட்டது. இந்தப் படத்தின் ப்ரீமியர் நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு என்னுடைய 5-6 நண்பர்களை படம் பார்க்க அழைத்துச் சென்றிருந்தேன்.
அப்போது கமல் என்னை அழைத்து, நீங்கள் நடித்த காட்சி நீக்கப்பட்டுவிட்டது என நண்பர்களிடம் சொல்லிவிடுங்கள் என்றார். ப்ரீமியரில் மட்டுமாவது என் காட்சியை இடம்பெறச் செய்யுங்கள். இல்லாவிட்டால் நண்பர்கள் முன்பு அசிங்கமாகிவிடும் என்று கமலிடம் சொன்னேன். ஆனால் அவர் அதை கேட்கவில்லை.
அப்போது என் நண்பர்களிடம் சென்று நான் கண்ணீர்விட்டு அழுதேன். நான் நடித்த சீன் கட் செய்யப்பட்டுவிட்டது என்று அவர்களிடம் கூறினேன். நீங்கள் பார்க்க விரும்பினால் படத்தை பாருங்கள் என்று சொன்னேன்” என்று அந்த சம்பவத்தைப் பகிர்ந்திருக்கிறார்.

The film ‘Hey Ram’ was released in 2000 starring Kamal Haasan.
This film starred Kamal, Shah Rukh Khan, Hema Malini, Shruti Haasan, Rani Mukerji and many others. Ilayaraja composed the music for this film. The film also stars famous Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. But his scenes were cut from the film. Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently gave an interview regarding this.
I played an important role in the film ‘Hey Ram’. That was the scene that Kamal saved me from. It was a great pleasure to act with him on screen. But at the last moment, the scene I played was cut. I had taken 5-6 of my friends to watch the film for the premiere of this film.
Then Kamal called me and said, “Tell your friends that the scene you acted in has been removed. At least make my scene appear in the premiere. Otherwise, I told Kamal that it would be embarrassing in front of my friends. But he didn’t listen to me.”
Then I went to my friends and cried. I told them that the scene I acted in had been cut. I told them to watch the film if you want to see it,” he shared the incident.
