fetus–கருவுக்குள் கரு’ – 5 லட்சம் கருக்களில் ஒன்றுக்கு ஏற்படும் அரியவகை; என்ன சிகிச்சை?
மகாராஷ்டிரா மாநிலம் புல்தானா மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள மருத்துவமனையில் 32 வயது கர்ப்பிணியின் வயிற்றில் உள்ள கருவின் உள்ளே மற்றொரு கரு இருப்பது தெரியவந்துள்ளது. இது மருத்துவ உலகில் மிக மிக அரிதான ஒன்றாகப் பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
இரட்டைக் கருக்கள் வயிற்றில் இருக்கும்போது ஒரு கருவினுள் மற்றொரு கரு தவறுதலாக இருந்துள்ளது. இது 5,00,000 கர்ப்பிணிகளில் ஒருவரின் கருவுக்குத்தான் நடக்க சாத்தியமுள்ளது என்கின்றனர்.
35 வாரம் கர்ப்பமாக இருந்த பெண்மணி, புல்தானாவின் பெண்கள் மருத்துவமனையில் வழக்கமான சோதனைக்காக வந்தபோது மகப்பேறு மருத்துவர் பிரசாத் அகர்வால் இதனைக் கண்டறிந்துள்ளார்.
“நான் அசாதாரணமான ஒன்றைக் கவனித்தேன். சாதாரணமான 35 வார கருவின் அமைப்பிலிருந்து வேறுபட்டு அதன் வயிற்றில் எலும்பு வளர்ந்திருப்பதைக் கவனித்தேன். அது மிக மிக வழக்கத்துக்கு மாறானது என்பதால் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் சோதித்தேன்” எனக் கூறியுள்ளார் பிரசாத் அகர்வால்.
பிரசாத் அகர்வாலைத் தொடர்ந்து ரேடியாலஜிஸ்ட்டான மருத்துவர் ஷ்ருதி தோரட் சோதித்து உறுதி செய்தார்.
Cryptodidymus in Pregnancy
இப்படி கருவுக்குள் கரு இருப்பதனை கிரிப்டோடிடிமஸ் (cryptodidymus) என அழைக்கின்றனர். வளரும் கரு அல்லது குழந்தையின் வயிற்றில் மற்றொரு கரு தவறுதலாக ஒட்டுண்ணிபோல பொருந்திக்கொள்வதை இதுகுறிக்கும்.
கருக்களின் ஆரம்பகால வளர்ச்சியின்போது ஒரு கரு மற்றொன்றை மூடிக்கொள்வதால் இது ஏற்படுகிறது. உலகம் முழுவதும் இதுபோல கிட்டத்தட்ட 200 பதிவுகள் மட்டுமே உள்ளன. இந்தியாவில் 10 முதல் 15 பேர் இப்படி இருந்திருக்கலாம் என்கின்றனர். பெரும்பாலும் இந்த நோயை குழந்தை பிறந்த பிறகுதான் கண்டறிகின்றனர்.
சிகிச்சை என்ன?
இந்த சிக்கலான பிரச்னை காரணமாக அதிக வசதி உள்ள சத்ரபதி சம்பாஜிநகர் மருத்துவமனைக்கு மாற்றப்பட்டுள்ளார் அந்த பெண்மணி. மகப்பேறுக்குப் பிறகு அறுவை சிகிச்சை மூலம் ஒட்டுக் கருவை நீக்க வேண்டியிருக்கலாம் என்கின்றனர் மருத்துவர்கள்.
தொடர்ந்து அந்த பெண்ணின் கருவை சோதித்து வருவதாகத் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

A 32-year-old pregnant woman was found to have another fetus inside her womb at a hospital in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district. This is considered a very rare condition in the medical world.
When twins are in the womb, one fetus is mistakenly found inside the other. It is said to happen to one in 5,00,000 pregnancies.
Gynecologist Prasad Agarwal discovered this when the woman, who was 35 weeks pregnant, came for a routine check-up at the Women’s Hospital in Buldhana.
“I noticed something unusual. I noticed a bone growing in her abdomen, which was different from the structure of a normal 35-week fetus. It was very, very unusual, so I checked it again and again,” said Prasad Agarwal.
Prasad Agarwal was followed by radiologist Dr. Shruti Thorat who tested and confirmed the diagnosis.
Cryptodidymus in Pregnancy
This type of embryo inside the fetus is called cryptodidymus. It refers to the accidental attachment of another embryo to the developing fetus or baby’s womb.
It occurs when one embryo covers the other during the early development of the fetus. There are only about 200 such records worldwide. It is said that 10 to 15 people in India may have had this. Most of the time, this disease is diagnosed only after the baby is born.
What is the treatment?
Due to this complex problem, the woman has been shifted to the well-equipped Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Hospital. Doctors say that the implanted embryo may have to be removed surgically after delivery.
They said that they are continuing to test the woman’s fetus.
