கர்நாடக மாநிலம் பெங்களூருவில் இரண்டு பேருக்கு HMPV தொற்று உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டிருப்பதாக மத்திய சுகாதாரத்துறை உறுதி செய்திருந்தது. அதேநேரத்தில் ஒரு குழந்தை மருத்துவமனையிலிருந்து டிஸ்சார்ஜ் ஆகியிருப்பதாக அம்மாநில சுகாதாரத்துறை தகவல் தெரிவித்திருக்கிறது.
பெங்களூரைத் தொடர்ந்து குஜராத்தில் ஒரு குழந்தைக்கும், சென்னை, சேலத்தில் தலா ஒரு குழந்தைக்கும் HMPV தொற்று இருப்பது உறுதிசெய்யப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. இந்த வகை வைரஸ் தொற்று 14 வயதுக்குக் குறைவான குழந்தைகளிடம் மிக எளிதாகப் பரவுவதாக மருத்துவத்துறை வட்டாரங்கள் தகவல் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.
