Gukesh also got the honor of being the youngest player to win the World Chess Championship title. Gukesh was given a prize of 11 crore rupees in Indian rupees.

உலக செஸ் சாம்பியன்ஷிப் பட்டத்தை வென்ற குகேஷை ரஜினிகாந்த் பாராட்டி இருக்கிறார்.
சிங்கப்பூரில் நடைபெற்ற உலக செஸ் சாம்பியன்ஷிப் தொடரில் சீன வீரர் டிங் லிரனுடன் போட்டியிட்டு தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த குகேஷ் வெற்றி பெற்றார். இதன் மூலம் உலக செஸ் சாம்பியன்ஷிப் பட்டத்தை வென்றார். உலக செஸ் சாம்பியன்ஷிப் பட்டம் வென்ற இளம் வீரர் என்ற பெருமையும் குகேஷுக்கு கிடைத்தது. குகேஷுக்கு இந்திய ரூபாய் மதிப்பில் 11 கோடி ரூபாய் பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது.
அதே போன்று தமிழக அரசும் குகேஷுக்கு 5 கோடி ரூபாய் பரிசுத்தொகையை அறிவித்தது. பிரதமர் தொடங்கி சினிமா துறையினர் வரை பலரும் குகேஷுக்கு சமூக வலைதளங்களில் வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்து இருந்தனர். குறிப்பாக நேற்று குகேஷை நடிகர் சிவகார்த்திகேயன் தனது அலுவலகத்திற்கு வரவைத்து பாராட்டி இருந்தார். அதுமட்டுமன்றி விலையுர்ந்த வாட்ச் ஒன்றையும் பரிசாக கொடுத்திருந்தார்.
இந்நிலையில் நடிகர் ரஜினிகாந்த் குகேஷை போயஸ் கார்டனில் உள்ள தனது வீட்டிற்கு சர்ப்ரைஸ் ஆக வரவழைத்து பாராட்டி இருக்கிறார். இதுதொடர்பானப் புகைப்படங்களைக் குகேஷ் தனது எக்ஸ் பக்கத்தில் பகிர்ந்திருக்கிறார்.
