முல்தானிமட்டி என்பது, ஆற்றுப்படுகைகளில் இருந்து எடுக்கப்படும் ஒரு வகை மண். முல்தான்’ என்பது, பாகிஸ்தானில் ஆற்றோரம் இருக்கும் ஒரு ஊர். மட்டி’ என்றால் மண். இந்த மண்ணுக்கும் களிமண்ணுக்கும் சிறிதளவுதான் வித்தியாசம். இதன் வேதிப்பெயர் அலுமினியம் சிலிகேட். இந்த மண்ணில், மக்னீசியம், துத்தநாகம், சிலிகான் போன்ற முக்கியமான தாதுக்கள் உள்ளன.
பாறையில் இருந்து வரும் முல்தானிமட்டி, சிறுசிறு கட்டிகளாக இருக்கும். வெள்ளை, தந்த நிறம், மஞ்சள் எனப் பல வண்ணங்களில் கிடைக்கிறது. அரை வெண்மை நிறத்தில் இருப்பதுதான் தரமானது. மேலும், பட்டுப் போல மென்மையாக இல்லாமல், கொஞ்சம் நெருநெருவென இருக்கும்படி பார்த்து வாங்க வேண்டும். முல்தானி மட்டி… என்னென்ன செய்யும்?
முல்தானிமட்டி, சருமத்தை சுத்தப்படுத்தவும், வெளுப்பாக்கவும் (ப்ளீச்சிங்), உலர்ந்த செல்களை நீக்கவும் (ஸ்கிரப்பிங்), எண்ணெய் பிசுக்கு மற்றும் அழுக்கை உறிஞ்சி எடுக்கவும் முல்தானி மட்டி முக்கியப் பங்கு வகிக்கிறது. இதில் இருக்கும் துத்தநாகம், சருமத்தில் பருக்களால் ஏற்படும் காயங்களை ஆற்றும் திறன் கொண்டது. ஆனால், இதை அதிகமாகப் போட்டுத் தேய்த்தாலோ, அதிக நேரம் வைத்து இருந்தாலோ, முக சருமத்தின் மேலே உள்ள அதிமென்மையான அடுக்கு (Superfine layer), பாதிக்கப்படும்.

முல்தானிமட்டியை சுத்தமான பன்னீரில் குழைத்து, ஒரு சிறிய பிரஷால் முகத்தில் தடவி வைத்திருந்து (தேய்த்தல் கூடாது), 10 நிமிடங்கள் கழித்து, தண்ணீரால் கழுவவேண்டும். பரு பிரச்னை உள்ளவர்கள், அதிகமான எண்ணெய் சுரப்பு உள்ளவர்களுக்கு நல்லது. 15 நிமிடங்களுக்கு மேல் அந்த பேக்கை வைத்திருக்கக் கூடாது. வெளியே செல்லும் முன், முல்தானிமட்டி போட்டு முகத்தைச் சுத்தப்படுத்தினால், முகம் பளீரென இருக்கும்.
கோடைக்காலத்தில் முல்தானிமட்டி பயன்படுத்தும்போது, சிலருக்கு முகத்தில் எரிச்சல் ஏற்ப டலாம். அவர்கள் முல்தானிமட்டியுடன் தூய்மையான சந்தனத்தூளைக் கலந்து பூசலாம். எரிச்சல் குறைந்து, குளுமையாக இருக்கும். மட்டி டிப்ஸ்!

Its chemical name is aluminum silicate. This soil contains important minerals like magnesium, zinc, and silicon.
Multani mitti, which comes from the rock, comes in small pieces. It is available in many colors such as white, ivory, and yellow. The quality is semi-white in color. Also, you should buy it so that it is not soft like silk, but a little firm. What does Multani mitti do?
Multani mitti plays an important role in cleansing, whitening (bleaching), removing dry cells (scrubbing), and absorbing oil and dirt. The zinc present in it has the ability to heal wounds caused by pimples on the skin. However, if you apply it too much or leave it for too long, the superfine layer on the top of the facial skin will be affected.
How to use
Mulch multani mitti in clean water, apply it to the face with a small brush (do not rub), and wash it off with water after 10 minutes. It is good for people with acne problems and those with excessive oil secretion. Do not keep the pack for more than 15 minutes. Before going out, if you cleanse your face with multani mitti, your face will be smooth.
