பான் கார்டு விண்ணப்பிக்கும் வலைதளப்பக்கத்தில் ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் இந்தி மட்டும் இருப்பது நிறைய பேருக்கு கடினமாக இருப்பதாகவும், தமிழும் அதில் சேர்க்க வேண்டும் என்றும் நடிகர் விஜய் சேதுபதி கூறியிருக்கிறார்.
மதுரையில் வருமான வரித்துறை சார்பில் இன்று நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்துகொண்டு பேசிய விஜய் சேதுபதி, “அரசிடமிருந்து எதாவது தகவலைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ள யாரைப் பார்க்க வேண்டும் என்பது முன்னாடி பெரிய கஷ்டமாக இருக்கும். இப்போது, அதை நாம் எளிமையாக தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் அளவுக்கு, எல்லோரும் புரிந்துகொள்ளும் அளவுக்கு வெப்சைட் ஆரம்பித்து, பான் கார்டு (PAN Card) எப்படி அப்ளை செய்வது, அதில் இருக்கும் சிக்கல் என்ன, குழந்தைகளுக்குப் புரிகின்ற மாதிரி கார்ட்டூன் வடிவில் கொடுத்திருப்பது நல்ல முன்னெடுப்பு.
ஆனால், பான் கார்டு அப்ளை செய்யவேண்டுமென்றால், அது ஆங்கிலத்திலும், இந்தியிலும்தான் இருக்கிறது. அது இங்க நிறைய பேருக்கு கடினமாக இருக்கும். தமிழிலும் இருந்தால், புரிந்துகொள்வதற்கு வசதியாக இருக்கும். ஏனென்றால், இங்கு என்னென்ன மாற்றங்கள் நிகழ்கிறது, எப்படி இருக்கிறது என்பதை திடீர்னு ஒரு பிரச்னை வரும்போதுதான் தெரிஞ்சிக்றோம். அதைப் பற்றிய விளக்கமும், தெளிவும் நமக்கு புரிகின்ற மொழியில் இருந்தால் நாம் அதில் இன்னும் தெளிவாக இருக்க முடியும் என்று நினைக்கிறன்.

Actor Vijay Sethupathi has said that many people find it difficult to apply for a PAN card only in English and Hindi, and that Tamil should also be included in it.
Speaking at an event held in Madurai today on behalf of the Income Tax Department, Vijay Sethupathi said, “Earlier, it was a big problem to know who to see to get some information from the government. Now, it is a good initiative to launch a website that is easy for us to understand, to make it easy for everyone to understand, and to give a cartoon format that is easy for children to understand.
But, if you want to apply for a PAN card, it is available in English and Hindi. It is difficult for many people here. If it is also in Tamil, it will be easier to understand. Because, we only know what changes are happening here and how it is when a problem suddenly arises. I think we can be more clear about it if the explanation and clarity about it is in a language that we understand.
Otherwise, we will have to depend on someone again about it. So, it would be good if that happens. This initiative is wonderful for a change. Paying taxes is very important. As much as we demand our rights from the government, it is our duty to pay taxes to the same extent.
“One thing that has been on my mind for a long time is that we earn hard and pay taxes, and it would be good if there were some benefit. If it is more than this, you have a section called tax. Similarly, if someone earns well at one time and at some point their situation becomes difficult due to lack of income, it seems that if they have paid taxes as a good citizen, there may be some benefit for them. I would like to ask you to consider that as well,” he said.
